Italian club Livorno are attempting to open up a non-European spot on their playing roster for Houston Dynamo midfielder Ricardo Clark. The US international has been linked with a move to Italy in January but Livorno will have to free up a spot on their roster if they are to sign him.

The club is trying to obtain an Italian passport for Brazilian midfielder Mozart so they can achieve the signing of Clark.
