Livorno attacker Alessandro Diamanti excited by Inter Milan interest

Livorno attacker Alessandro Diamanti has welcomed interest from Serie A champs Inter Milan.

Diamanti has immediately had a £10 million price-tag slapped on him and said: “It's a lot, a little too much in a moment of crisis like this. Perhaps, Spinelli says so because he likes me a lot.

“Thinking about playing for Inter is a dream, but in my career I have also cashed so many disappointments.

“I will see myself in a big team only after having signed the contract, not before,” he added.

On being asked if he feels ready to play for a team like Inter, Diamanti replied: “I like challenges.”
