Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso is ready to snub a move to Juventus to return home to Spain.
The Mirror says Alonso is delaying completing his move to Juventus until after Euro 2008. The Spanish midfielder has agreed in principle to a £16million deal that will take him to Italy.
But he is determined to keep his options open, hoping for a switch back to his homeland. Real Madrid are keeping watch on developments.
