Liverpool striker Fernando Torres accepts he could be dropped this weekend, despite a hat-trick against Reading in the Carling Cup.
Torres said: "You have to accept rotations.
"When it comes down to it the secret is this - the players believe in the coach and he makes us feel important.
"The results he has achieved have proved him right. You have to be a team player and conscious of what's best for everybody.
"Rafa must have some type of formula to take a team to two Champions League finals.
"He's very methodical, his ideas are very clear. He builds a team on the back of this well-defined thinking."
