Liverpool striker Fernando Torres enjoys playing with skipper Steven Gerrard and is convinced he can win trophies at Anfield.

"He's easy to play with because he's one of the best, if not the best, midfielders in the world," he told liverpoolfc.tv. "You always want to play with the best players in the big competitions.

"I have improved already as a player at Liverpool because of my teammates and because of my manager. Since my first day here I've felt at home.

"It's my best season so far in terms of scoring goals but I'm not going to set myself a target for the rest of the season. I just want to help my teammates win trophies."
