Brendan Rodgers says supporters are right to protest rising ticket prices.
A section of Liverpool fans are planning to boycott the Reds' trip to Hull City on Tuesday night and Rodgers concurs that the £48 they have been made to shell out is far too much to watch a football match.
"Like everything in modern football, I respect the supporters' right to protest," Rodgers said.
"I don't know so much about it but supporters nowadays have to work very hard to get the money to go to football games."
The cheapest home season ticket at Anfield already costs £710, while fans have to spend anything between £37 and £59 for a single home game.
