Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant has put his future at Portsmouth on-hold.

Pennant said: "It's too early to think about staying beyond the summer at the moment. I have got more important things to think about than me staying or going.

"I have got a job to do here to try to keep Portsmouth in the Premier League.

"If I do that, then I can think about my future afterwards."
