Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant says he can solve England's left-side problems.

Pipped by Blackburn's David Bentley to the latest England squad, Pennant is determined to force his way in.

He said: "Would I play left wing for England? Definitely. You could put me right-back if you wanted to."
