Liverpool's Keane warning to Premiership

Liverpool striker Robbie Keane has warned the Premier League that it is only a matter of time until he opens his account for the Reds in the league. "You haven't seen the best yet of me but we have a lot of games coming up and I'm looking forward to showing what I can do," the 28 year old told Liverpool.tv.

"Every player wants to win things no matter where they are from. You want to look back on your career and see medals."

Keane, though, insists nobody on Merseyside is getting carried away with early success in the current campaign.

"We're lucky in that we don't have any players who are cocky or arrogant enough to think they've won anything at this stage of the season," added Keane.

"Stevie (Gerrard) doesn't go on about it every day but there is a desire inside him and the likes of Jamie Carragher to win the league.

"Their determination rubs off on everyone at the club."
