Liverpool fullback Jose Enrique is surprised by how much he enjoyed winning the Carling Cup.

The left-back, 26, had never won a trophy prior to yesterday's penalty shoot-out success over Cardiff at Wembley.

Enrique said: "I didn't know this feeling before. It's amazing to win something like this.

"When Cardiff scored the second goal, if I'm honest I thought we might lose the game, so it's an amazing feeling - I can't explain it.

"It's the best feeling I ever had in football, for sure."
