Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson is delighted with his progress this season on-loan at Aston Villa.

The England cap told Villa's website: "The highlight for me personally has been getting 20-plus games under my belt.

"I have been generally happy with my form. I've done nothing amazing but I haven't made any blunders either - other than my sending off against United.

"I just need to concentrate for 90 minutes and make the important saves when I need to. I feel like I'm getting back into a good groove so it's shame I've got to miss the Liverpool game."
