Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher says Portsmouth goalkeeper David James remains England's outstanding shot-stopper. He told TalkSport: "I still think David James. Obviously the experience playing for England and what he does in the Premiership.
"Obviously it's a position that is probably up for grabs at the moment. Robbie Green (West Ham) is doing well when he goes in but I just think the actual experience of David James and also the experience of playing for England, he doesn't have the shirt (at the moment), but I think there is obviously a long way to go until the World Cup so things can change."
