Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is ready to meet Racing Santander's asking price for young Argentine defender Ezequiel Garay.

Bayern Munich's interest will enhance Benitez's chances of doing that, with the Reds' American owners aware they cannot afford to upset their manager and also risk a backlash from the fans, says the Mirror.
