Yossi Benayoun reckons Liverpool teammates Jamie Carragher and Dan Agger would do well in the no-holds-barred Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Carragher, 29, was recently labelled a 'bottler' after announcing his international retirement.

But Benayoun, 26, said: "I think Jamie Carragher would excel in the UFC.

"There are a couple of people in the squad who would give it a go but Carra and Danny Agger would probably be the pair in the final.

"They are both very tough, even in training they are really strong and don't pull out of any challenges. From what I've seen, Carra would probably just edge it."
