Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani remains hopeful of staying with AC Milan.

Milan have so far indicated they're unwilling to take up the option of signing Aquilani permanently.

"My future? Let's see, there is still a door half-open, we'll see what happens," said the Italy international after victory over Novara.
