Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen admits he chatted with Jonjo Shelvey ahead of his move to Swansea City.
Allen made the opposite journey last summer.
"He talked about it a little bit with me," explained Allen. "He's sad to leave Liverpool, but he's really looking forward to getting down there."
