Liverpool midfielder Jay Spearing admits he's learning plenty working with skipper Steven Gerrard.
Spearing admits he's grateful to Gerrard for taking him under his wing.
Spearing told liverpoolfc.tv: "He's one of the greatest midfielders in the world, and I can't thank him enough for what he's done for me over the years.
"He took me under his wing from the moment I came up from the Academy. He talks to me quite a bit in training sessions. In games, like against Napoli, he had a quiet word with me and said, 'Let's get everyone going and get the game won."
