Thomas Ince admits Liverpool's academy youngsters are inspired seeing former teammates Nathan Eccleston and Martin Kelly make their first team debuts this season.

Winger Ince is still young enough to feature in Liverpool's U18 team and helped them beat Wolves in the FA Youth Cup this week.

"It's great to see. Nathan is a good friend of mine and when he text me to say he was on the bench in the Carling Cup against Arsenal, I was really proud for him. But like you say, it does show that if you work hard and have the ability, there will be chances to make an impression," Ince told liverpoolfc.tv.
