Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling has been given the green light to be part of England's U21 Euros team this summer.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has told England Under-21 coach Stuart Pearce he has no problems with the winger, 18, going to the finals in Israel.
Sterling has been pulled out of the first-team firing line since Christmas to save him from burnt out.
Rodgers said: "I don't think it would do Raheem any harm. Going to a tournament like that, if he was selected, will be good for his experience."
