Liverpool haven't dropped their pursuit of Southampton fullback Nathaniel Clyne.

The Liverpool Echo says Liverpool remain interested in Clyne despite seeing a bid thought to be in the region of £10m rejected by the Saints last month.

There had been suggestions that the club were looking at Burnley's Kieran Trippier as a better value option but the Echo insist Clyne is still on their radar.

Clyne is yet to sign a new deal with Saints, despite several months of negotiations.
