Liverpool may find it difficult to lure Dutch legend Johan Cruyff to Anfield.
Cruyff is an early contender to replace Damien Comolli as football director after his departure yesterday.
The Daily Mail says Cruyff, 64, is one of the biggest names in world football and has been acclaimed for his role in helping to set up the academy system at Barcelona.
He has consultancy roles at Ajax and Chivas Guadalajara but whether he would be enticed by the prospect of working in England is debatable.
