Liverpool's FA Cup semifinal will be held on April 14.

The Daily Star says the Reds will play their FA Cup semi-final on Saturday, April 14 to avoid a clash with the anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.

Kenny Dalglish's Reds booked their place in the last four by beating Stoke on Sunday and will face either Sunderland or Everton at Wembley next month.

That game will now be played on the 14th after Liverpool made an official request to the Football Association as April 15 is traditionally set aside for a memorial service at Anfield for families of the 96 fans killed at Hillsborough 23 years ago.
