Liverpool are interested in Lyon fullback Aly Cissokho.

The Reds have gone cold on Newcastle United left-back Jose Enrique over his asking price.

The Daily Mail says Liverpool have been told they can land Cissokho for £9 million.

Cissokho, who almost joined AC Milan 12 months ago, is a France international.
