Liverpool are watching Schalke youngster Max Meyer.
Kicker says Liverpool are keeping tabs on the 18 year-old midfielder, who could see action at Champions League opponents Chelsea tonight.
Meyer is tied to Schalke until 2017, but the German giants are nervous about Liverpool's interest and are keen to up the midfielder's terms.
Liverpool have also been linked with Stuttgart's Romanian playmaker Alexandru Maxim this morning.
