Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is keeping tabs on PSV Eindhoven winger Dries Mertens.

The Belgian has been a target for Liverpool since former football chief Damien Comolli was in charge.

Liverpool will have to fork out £9.7m to land the Belgium international, who is contracted to PSV until 2016.
