Liverpool are keeping tabs on Lille defender Simon Kjaer.

Sportmediaset says Liverpool are lining up a summer move for the Denmark international.

Kjaer has impressed watching Reds scouts while checking on Divock Origi's progress with LOSC.

"This summer, I will have two years left on my contract, and so we will see what happens. As I've said a hundred times. I am really happy to be with this club. I feel good and I like to play football here," Kjaer said earlier this month.

"But in football you never know what happens. Towards the end of the season, I should talk to my management about what should happen.

"But only in about two to three months."
