Liverpool are tracking Anderlecht teen Samuel Bastien.

Belgian sources say Liverpool have been running the rule over the 18 year-old midfielder and are weighing up making an offer.

Despite his tender years, Bastian made his first team debut for Anderlecht in December. He has impressed Liverpool scouts in UEFA Youth League action this season.

Bastian actually was schooled at Standard Liege before being tempted away by Anderlecht.

His former Anderlecht youth teammate, David Henen, is currently on Merseyside at Everton.
