Liverpool are eyeing Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope.
The Mirror says Burnley's £18m-rated goalkeeper is the latest stopper under consideration by the Anfield side in their search for a new No.1.
And they have been building up their information on Pope with a series of background checks on the 26-year old.
Liverpool know all about Pope's ability having seen him star for Burnley last term and cap his brilliant breakthrough season by being named the Clarets' fans and players' player of the season.
His form since replacing injured teammate Tom Heaton as Burnley's first choice in September also earned him a place in Gareth Southgate's World Cup squad.
