Liverpool aim to sign Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno in the next week.
BILD says the Reds have tabled a bid of €25m for the Germany international, who would arrive as a replacement for Simon Mignolet. Mignolet is planning to leave the Reds this summer.
Liverpool and Leno want a decision within the next week, with the German wanting to go on holiday after missing World Cup selection.
Bayer are happy to sell, having already brought in Lukas Hradecky as his replacement from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Threatening Liverpool's plans are Napoli, which have been in talks with Leno about signing the German to replace the AC Milan-bound Pepe Reina.
