Manchester City have been told they can land Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy on the cheap - if they include one of their top kids in their offer.

The News of the World says Liverpool are willing to sell the Wales international to City for £3 million - if they include midfielder Michael Johnson in their bid.

Johnson enjoyed an outstanding late season breakthrough at Eastlands last term and caught the eye of Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez, who also remains a big fan of City pal Nedum Onuoha.
