Liverpool want Aston Villa pair Ashley Young and Stewart Downing.
The Reds are competing with Manchester United for Young and reports this morning suggest they're leading the race.
But their interest in Villa's squad does not end there.
The Mirror says Liverpool director of football Damien Comolli has pushed hard to sign Young, and a double bid could be on the cards as he is also an admirer of the forward's Villa and England colleague Stewart Downing.
