Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is determined to land Blackpool winger Thomas Ince.

The Mirror says Rodgers has now made it clear he will not give up on Ince, who he sees a real star of the future.

Rodgers is hopeful a bid of around £4m will persuade the Seasiders to sell.

Ince could have avoided the heartache he faced in January but, after spending more than three years at Anfield, he was sold to Blackpool 18 months ago after turning down a new contract.
