Liverpool must wait for an international clearance to rubberstamp Iago Aspas's transfer.
The Sun says Aspas tonight finally joined Liverpool after the Celta Vigo striker passed a medical.
The Spaniard signed a long-term contract a week after the Reds agreed a fee of around £7.7milllion with the Primera Division club.
Aspas, 25, who hit 12 goals last term, needs international clearance.
But Reds' boss Brendan Rodgers is now celebrating his third capture of the summer.
He had already landed Manchester City defender Kolo Toure and, yesterday, Sevilla's Luis Alberto.
