Liverpool will wait to find out more regarding the injury sustained by Daniel Agger on the weekend.
The Danish defender limped out of the 2-0 FA Cup win over Oldham Athletic on Sunday complaining of calf cramps but as a precaution, the club sent him for scans on Tuesday.
Liverpool medical staff will now assess the extent of the problem as the Merseysiders get set to travel to Stoke City this Sunday and manager Brendan Rodgers will be hoping he is all clear of injury as he has Mamadou Sakho and Jose Enrique already out Glen Johnson recovering from a rolled ankle.
