Liverpool veteran Kolo Toure is open to a move to France.

Toure comes off contract next month.

He said: "I've never played in France, but I don't see why I shouldn't in the future.

"I know it is a league where you need to be strong, but I feel good and physically ready for it.

"I would not mind taking a pay cut to play in Ligue 1. When I was a kid I supported Marseille during the time Basile Boli played for them.

"Now I am a big admirer of Lyon, Lille and Saint-Etienne. They are all good clubs."
