Liverpool veteran Lucas prices himself out of Galatasaray move

Liverpool veteran Lucas Leiva has priced himself out of a move to Galatasaray.

Fotospor says his move to Turkish giants Galatasaray has hit the rocks due to the midfielder's wage demands.

The longest serving current Liverpool player wants to continue on an identical £80,000-a-week deal to the one he is on at Anfield plus a £1.5m signing on fee.

Leiva recently celebrated his 10th anniversary on Merseyside but his deal is up at the end of the season.

The Brazilian's agent apparently travelled to Turkey last week to try and hack out a deal but couldn't come close to an agreement.
