Carragher will not be pulling any punches if his soon-to-be ex-team mates are not cutting the mustard.
He admitted: “There’s a way of doing it. I don’t mean sitting on the fence, I mean when someone just says something stupid or outrageous.
“When you have a good point to make or it’s a valid one, I have always respected that as a player. If someone has a point to make about you, then fair enough.
“Sometimes as players you like people saying good things about you and, of course, no one is ever wrong when they do that.
“But they always are when they say bad stuff — that winds me up a bit.
“But I’m ready for it. I’ve told the Liverpool players if they are not performing they will be getting it!”
