Liverpool veteran Jamie Carragher is disappointed with how the England captaincy issue has been handled.
Carragher felt the issue could have been handled better by coach Fabio Capello.
"I think captaining England is a massive thing. It's a huge honour to be captain of England," he said.
"For me I think John Terry's a great captain, has been a great captain and will be a great captain and if Capello thinks that's right for England then he's got to do it, no matter how much criticism he gets.
"I think we'd all look at it and think it could have been handled a bit better."
