Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Kolo Toure from Manchester City.
Sky Sports suggests that the Ivory Coast defender will join the Reds as a free agent when his contract at the Etihad Stadium expires.
32-year old Toure is not first choice at City and will be available to depart this summer with Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers keen on bringing him in as a replacement for the retired Jamie Carragher.
It is believed that the Anfield club will offer the former Arsenal star a two-year deal.
