Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez hopes to set up swap deal for Espanyol winger Albert Riera.

DiarioSport says Benitez is willing to offer cash and the loan of Argentine midfielder Sebastian Leto in exchange for Spain international Riera, who would jump at the chance of moving to Anfield.

Leto has been hit by passport trouble in England and Benitez wants to send him away on-loan next season while attempts are made to clear up the dispute.
