Liverpool are set to pass up on the opportunity to make defender Steven Caulker's loan move into a permanent one at the end of the season, according to reports from theLiverpool Echo.
Caulker was a surprise loan signing for Liverpool from Queens Park Rangers during the January transfer window and the Reds had put in the option of making the deal less temporary at the culmination of the current campaign.
However, Caulker has barely featured at all since his winter arrival at Anfield and now reports have claimed that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will not be looking to sign the 24-year-old on a permanent deal this summer.
Caulker, who spent the first half of the season at Southampton, has made a total of four appearances for the Reds which has included only two minutes of action in his three Premier League outings.
