Liverpool Under-23 coach Michael Beale is on his way to Brazil.
The Daily Star says Beale has spent the last few days in Brazil where he's been negotiating terms with Sao Paulo.
According to O Globo, Beale has been chosen by Rogerio Ceni to be the club's new assistant.
It's claimed the agreement is set to be completed next week.
Ceni and Beale got to know one another on a coaching course last September.
They hit it off well and traded ideas on tactics and coaching methods.
Beale flew over to Brazil earlier this week to watch Sao Paulo overcome Capivariano 4-0 in the Paulista Under-20 Championship final.
