Liverpool U21 coach Alex Inglethorpe has no doubt Michael Ngoo will have benefited from his loan at Hearts.

Inglethorpe might have only worked with him briefly since his arrival from Tottenham Hotspur, but the striker has clearly made a big impression on him.

"He's a goal machine in Scotland, isn't he?" Inglethorpe told Liverpoolfc.com.

"He's such a good lad as well. I only had a couple of brief months working with him when I arrived here but I loved every moment of it.

"He's an infectious character. I speak to him after every game and his goal celebration last weekend was a bit of an in joke between me and him!

"I thought he took both goals really well. The first goal was a proper centre-forward's header and the second one he smashed in from outside the box and we know he can do that.

"The big man is capable of that sort of finish and he's a terrific boy."
