Liverpool U18 coach Steven Gerrard has enjoyed a winning debut.

Gerrard's kids beat Burton Albion 7-0 at St George's Park on Friday.

In a behind closed doors pre-season friendly, Liam Millar and Rafael Camacho both netted double strikes.

Further goals came courtesy of Curtis Jones, Luis Longstaff and a penalty from Adam Lewis.

“Great start to pre season with a 7-0 win and a quality performance," Goalscorer Jones posted to social media. “Happy to get on the score sheet. Looking forward to this season."
