Liverpool U18 coach Barry Lewtas says Bobby Duncan has settled quickly.

The England youth international was snapped up from Manchester City this summer.

“Bobby is a local lad who has fitted in straight away," Lewtas said.

“All the lads know him from playing against him. There's no fanfare around him, he's just another one of the lads.

“Bobby has done well at Academy level previously and has scored goals.

“He will be keen to pass the next test of his development which is under-18s level and work as hard as he can to get to the under-23s.

“We are really excited to have him here. He's really added to the group - both on and off the pitch.

“It's important for him to knuckle down and we'll see where he goes from there."
