Liverpool are looking to sign Kieran Trippier from Burnley according to reports.

According to The Times, the Reds are poised to make a bid for right-back Trippier after missing out on Southampton's Nathaniel Clyne.

Liverpool were unsuccessful with their pursuit of the England international and are now expected to activate Trippier's £3.5million release clause.

The 24-year old is also believed to be a target for both Tottenham and Aston Villa.
