Liverpool triumph and top CL Group

Liverpool came from behind in Holland to win 3-1 at PSV Eindhoven and finish top of Champions League Group D. Danko Lazovic gave the home side the lead on 36 minutes only for Ryan Babel to restore parity on the stroke of half time.

Two goals in nine second half minutes from Albert Riera and David Ngog mean the Premier League leaders have home advantage in the second leg of the knockout stage.

Reds £20million striker Robbie Keane has come under fire for a lack of goals and despite not finding the back of the net again was please with the result.

"Don't get me wrong, I love to score but the most important thing is the team's performance and the result," Keane told ITV4.

"As long as I keep working hard for the team and keep going I'll be here for a long time and I'll score a lot of goals."
