Liverpool told to double bid for Ipswich striker Wickham

Liverpool must double their offer if they want Ipswich Town striker Connor Wickham.

The People says Kop boss Kenny Dalglish, who has just paid £20m on Sunderland's Jordan Henderson, will have to DOUBLE his £5.5m bid for England under-21 striker Wickham.

And he faces competition from the Black Cats, who are putting in a bid of £8m, rising to £12m after cashing in on Henderson.

Liverpool are expected to up the ante this week, and will have to at least match the Sunderland offer.

They also have players available for exchange or loan.
