Liverpool have agreed to sell Simon Mignolet this summer.

The Mirror says the Anfield club signed Alisson from Roma for £67million this transfer window, paving the way for either the Belgian or last season's number one Loris Karius to leave.

Karius was the favourite after he made a series of mistakes in pre-season following two crucial ones in the Reds' Champions League final clash with Real Madrid, which ultimately cost them the trophy.

But it looks as if Mignolet will be the man to depart after Liverpool opened talks with Besiktas to sell the former Sunderland shot-stopper.

Mignolet has three years remaining on his current deal on Merseyside, but has fallen down to third in the pecking order following Alisson's arrival.

Liverpool are keen to sell the Belgian, as opposed to send him out on loan, and the Turkish giants are at the front of the queue to sign him.
