Liverpool are closing on a deal for Udinese winger Piotr Zielinski this week.

Przeglad Sportowy says the Pole is due to sign for Liverpool on Wednesday.

The Reds could finalise negotiations with Zielinski's representatives today and the 21-year-old is expected to put pen to paper later in the week.

Udinese sporting director Cristiano Giaretta last month confirmed there is 'concrete interest' from Liverpool.

Liverpool have reportedly submitted a bid worth £12m.
